The low score in cornering and steering is probably due to the larger size than OEM and the fact that they are snows. I think this is a fair trade off for winter safety.

My Cooper Weather-Master tires were subjected to 2 snow storms up here in Canada and performed admirably. They are a little on the noisy side but that's a small trade off of the feeling of safety and security they provide.

Used only a set of 2 on a rear drive car. With that in mind they worked fairly well as can be expected with REAR drive in heavy and light snow here in SD. Ran them all through last summer and they wore well enough to keep me moving through another winter. In summery they keep me moving and not spinning.

I bought these tires because the Yokohama M+S traction in snow was lacking. The moment these Coopers were placed on the truck was night and day difference. Going up a steep grade driveway with 6+ inchez of snow made me wonder if the snow was actually there! No loss of traction or spinning whatsoever. I highly recommend these tires!

These are definitely "grippier" than my all season tires and I'm happy to have more stability on the winter roads. We haven't had a big snow yet for me to try them out on snowy roads, but I've noticed significantly less hydroplaning on wet roads and better cornering in the turns :)

Good snow tires. Also handle well in rain, slush. My rear wheel drive wagon goes well in snow with them. Pretty quiet on dry roads. Should last at least two winters if you don't leave them on too long. They will become pretty slick on wet roads once they have worn down.

I have owned these tires in the past. I feel they are one of the best snows on the market, they are studdable, i personally dont like studs therefore did not get them. If these tires were studded ice traction would most likely be excellent. Only flaw with these tires is when you park the car with warm tires and then they get cold they flat spot for about a mile or two until they warm up, to an unexpecting person you may think you have something in your tire or a soft tire. Other than that I feel they are a top quality winter tire.

Snow tires went on in mid Dec 2010 as Central NY was getting 5 feet of snow in 10 days. Tires have performed well in the 6+ feet we have had since then.

very happy with these snow tires. I have a rear wheel drive car and decided to put 4 snows on. Have driven in several snow storms without problems. Traction in the snow is dramatically better with these tires.

Sofar the tires have performed as hoped. They are goo in snow and we've had a lot of that lately. I was able to navigate a 400 foot dirt driveway with an elevation difference of 200 feet in light snow with no slippage. I left some blanks sinne I haven't encountered them yet or haven't had the tires long enough to make a determination. I have used, sold and liked Cooper tires since the 1960's.

These are the best tires you can buy for a car in the winter time. I had the cooper weather masters on a car 6 years ago, and now that I have my own vehicle bought them again. You will not be disappointed. I have gotten out of spots where people have told me I am stuck. The grip on these tires is unbelievable and amazing driving in the snow. When you think you may be stuck don't be afraid to give it just a little more gas and I guarantee you'll get out. My car drives like a 4 wheel drive on the snow covered roads with these tires.

Maybe you can help me as I ordered 4 tires on December 26, 2009 and only received 2. I was billed for 4 and only received the two. Your sales rep e-mailed me once that you only had two. He then said the other two would be shipped. After a month went by, I e-mailed him back saying I still had not received the other two. No response was ever given and after the winter came and went, I gave up. I never received the tires or a refund. So, I was taken for $232.00. If you wish to contact me on a refund please respond to me. I do need two tires of a different size. Maybe we can work something out. As for the two tires I have they are great. Thank you, Ronald Williams

The tires definitely improved the car's grip on the road during snow and ice. My only complaint is my gas mileage dropped significantly once the tires were installed.

I can't rate for deep snow, ice, or hydroplaning resistance as I've not experienced these conditions to date. The noise level would probably be fine, except Mavis Tires put studs (not requested by me) on the tires.

I live in the lake-effect prone area of New York, and am very happy with these snow tires. I also have to drive down and up my driveway, which is over 200 ft long and a moderately steep incline. Oh, I should mention the drive doesn't always get plowed! Most of the time I don't even have to put my little Tracker into 4 wheel drive to get up it!

I prefer Cooper snows over the Nokians for performance and wear. I drive on poorly plowed roads all winter and want the deep tread. Some people complain about the noise, but it isn't an issue for me. My only complaint - I could have purchased the tires and mounting for about $100.00 less locally, but I dndin't know that at the time.
