Excellent snow tires. I have owned only two types of snow tires in the past: Michelin X-ice and Bridgestone Blizzak. I would recommend both for winter driving. |

We have a blacktop driveway that slopes downhill at about a 30 degree angle for about 50-60 feet. With the Yokahama Geolandar G91F that came standard on car, I would slide some going down the driveway, even with just a light couple inches of snow. That made me worry about stopping in the driveway without sliding onto the road. With the Michelins it's like driving on dry pavement. The Michelins are also quieter and give a smoother ride and better handling than the Yokahamas did. I like them so much better that I may just leave them on permanently rather than switch for the summer. |

This is my second set of these Michelins. I repeated buying them because they are quiet, have a good ride quality, and are also very good in snow. I have had other snow tires that either start out noisy and rough or become so after 10K miles. These tires remain civilized for more than 30K. |

Car was absolutely terrible in the snow. Ordered Blizzaks and they ended up not being in stock once I showed up to my appointment. Ended up putting these on instead and, wow - all the difference in the world. Feel like I can safely drive around in even the worst Buffalo weather! |

this was not my first choice but the way superior Continental 890 was not available anywhere. The Michelin gets the job done, its an above average winter tire. I had some interaction with snow and also very heavy rain. Hydroplaining could be better, but that is a trade off on all good snow tires. All in all, if you cannot get the Continental buy the Michelin. |

Love the tires. Can't wait to see how they go in the snow. The big challenge will be to get up my brother in law's driveway down in Pennsylvania. Couldn't get up the driveway last winter with my other snow tires. |

Tires worked so well last winter on my other car, I brought them for my leased vehicle. Shop is quite competent and courteous. On my other car,(Lincoln front wheel drive) I just rotated to the back, and then to the front for this winter |

Tires worked well while driving in the snow despite width of tires. Was surprised how well they tracked during one of the many snow storms we had this past winter. The tires were somewhat loud in dry driving conditions. |

Definitely noticed a difference driving with these Michelin tires compared to the All-Weather tires I was using previously. The grip and handling are so much better and I would not hesitate buying them again or any other Michelin tire for that matter. |

This review is having the tires for two weeks in mostly ice and snow. I notice they are more quiet than the cheap Antares Ice 60's. They also stop a lot better. These tires are easily equal to the Bridgestone Blizzak's. Excellent stop and start on snow. |

Had the tires only one month so far and it has been a mild winter so far, but good tires so far. I drive 150 miles per day and they are almost as smooth as the factory tires. My Linc already has 35000 miles on it in one year! |

So far so good in the only winter storm I've been through, but there was no ice or deep snow to deal with. I was disappointed that the tires were over a year old when they put them on. I requested a fresh set, and the best they had was from the 15th week of 2013. I bought them in the 40th week of 2014. Since they are snow tires, I hope they last five or more years, but one shouldn't use a tire older than six years. I'd rather not push that either. Otherwise, they seem fine. |

Tires are OK. For unplowed roads and heavy snow, I preferred the previous Blizzaks I had on the car. These do seem better on dry pavement, or in the salty/slushy conditions that roads in the Northeast tend to have. But in deep snow, these are not very good. |

Having a rear wheel drive sports car in the snow is not a good combination, with that, these Xi3s allow me to actually get around whereas my stock all season Perellis would just spin the moment they touched any of the white stuff. I did have trouble getting up a steep hill that was covered in a slushy ice mess during heavy snow fall and my traction controls were going nuts and I had to creep up at 3 mph with the gas pedal completely floored (did not try disabling the nannies and feathering my way up) but regardless, with my stock tires I never would have made it close to the hill. Driving in snow is great and actually a lot of fun - still need to go easy with 415 HP and 420 ft/lbs Torque as they will definitely spin out. I am glad I purchased these snow tires as they were badly needed and always get top marks from just about any "review" site. These should last me the life of the car. Had them mounted to stock 18" rims and will get a separate set of aftermarket rims for the all season Perellis. |

Have bought x-ice tires since they came out and they just keep getting better with every generation. Pricey, but never had a problem with any of 44 Michelin tires I have bought, so they are definately worth it! No sidewall cracking, leaking, thumping, uneven wear or shaking that you get with other brands, and they last! |

Previously I've used Bridgestone Blizzak, which I thought were great. These are even better. I would recommend them to anyone. What was most surprising, in addition to the great traction on ice, was the noise level. Blizzak was much noisier. These aren't bad at all. Great tires! |
