These tires perform excellent. Between the AWD vehicle and these tires I could not be happier. Pulled out of a 400 ft driveway with 9'' snow with no problem. On blowed but snowy roads excellent stopping, impressive grip and no slippage on acceleration. Same in the slush and mush. A little sticky and noisy on dry pavement and warm days but that is the trade off until spring. |

I drove home from Albany(72mi) on the NYS Thruway during the evening ice-snow storm we had on the 3rd of March, Horrible driving conditions. This car with X-ice got me home. I am very impressed how well these Michelin X-ICE performed. With any other tire I would have spent the night in a hotel. |

These tires saved me this winter. We had a tremendous amount of snow and ice on multiple occasions, and my car went from NOT being able to handle ANY ice or snow to being GREAT on ice and snow. |

For a snow tire - I'm only noticing minimal improvement over the worn out all-weathers I had on the car previously. I really expect a snow tire to stick to the road. I've had several times where I had trouble getting traction to start at intersections when there is piled snow. I would probably not get these tires again, as they are not preforming to that "night and day" difference that I expect when I switch over to snow tires in the winter. |

Tires are much quieter than previous brand, performance is excellent in all driving conditions experienced. Tires offer one a secure feeling to the challenges of winter driving in western NY. |

Good Grip on light & heavy snow. Have driven on limited Ice, but I was able to make it around the Northeast in my Corolla around Christmas of 2012 after up-state NY & VT had received some pretty heavy snow. |

I just got these tires a month or 2 ago. These are my first set of snow tires. They handle pretty well in the dry and no skidding or hydroplane felt in the wet. I haven't experienced snow of any kind with the tires yet but I am confident they will do well. |

I haven't used these tires in all of the conditions listed above and would be happy to do another survey later. I bought these tires hoping they can handle the conditions where I live. I live in an area where the road are left covered with enough snow to crest over my front bumpers. If these tires are worth what I paid for them, I will give them a better review. |

2008 SUBARU FORESTOR XT (THERE WAS NO CHOICE FOR THIS MODEL, SO HAD TO PUT OUTBACK) Quiet, smooth driving, road gripping in light snow. Havent had the snow i expected but when i have travelled to areas with about 2" had no problem whatsoever. Probably as with all snow tires, keep your distance from other vehicles as these tires do stop well but their not as good as year round when it comes to stopping. i think they are great, especially because they are quiet!!! Michelin tires have never let me down. Try Michelin Harmony year round, they are quiet too! |

Have not driven in deep snow. Live on a dirt road and need traction to get up as it's snow covered most of the winter. Have been able to stay on top of the snow clearing this year. The Camry is not a good performer in the snow, but it seems these Michelins are better than the Viking snows I had in the past. So far, have been able to get up and down the hill when I've needed to. |

I work 170 miles from home in New England and needed winter tires to reliably get me there in any weather. The Michelin X-ICE may be more tire than I need for an all-wheel drive, but I have never skidded or slipped even in heavy snow and ice at 65 MPH. I highly recommend these tires. |

Beware when buying the X-Ice tires. Michelin changes the tread pattern slightly from time to time. Be sure the DOT numbers match, or you may not have the exact same tread pattern. This happened to me. To Mavis's credit, they took the tires back and issued a full credit. They also provided the Bridgestone Blizzak as an alternate at an attractive price. Kudos to Rick the Mavis customer service rep. He was very professional and handled my exchange and credit without any fuss. I would buy from these folks again based on my experience dealing with them. |
