Best tire in wet driving conditions. We got stuck in severe rain storms on the highway. It was so bad drivers pulled off the road. Our Forteras were outstanding and kept us stable and steady. |

We noticed right away that the ride was much smoother and more comfortable. Have not driven in snow or icey conditions yet. |

This is my second set of these tires. The first was on an old buick and I was very impressed with the drive. When I bought my present car I couldn't wait for the tires to wear out so I could replace them. Much quieter and better handling with the bad winter we're having. Triptreds are an added safety factor on your vehicle you won't be disappointed if traction is what you want. |

While these are not original equipment, they are much better than any tires that we have had on the vehicle (120,000 miles). Additionally, they seem to wear much better than any other brand that we have use. I am very happy with them! |

I did a lot of research before choosing these tires. Even with them being the obvious choice after reading other reviews, I was pleasantly surprised and they exceeded my expectations all around. They even look nice. |

I tried the tires on icy surface once and did not feel completely safe. The other experience is great. |

The minute I was returning home from Mavis, I could feel a difference while driving the Discovery, and couldn't believe a tire could make such a difference.
This Good Year tire should have been the tire issued when the Discovery was purchased as a new vehicle. It has changed my feelings about driving this vehicle-less top heavy feeling, better highway response, better cornering in highway driving , etc. It sticks to the highway better. We drove in snow in early March and it was great. They're terrific in rain too.
I never thought a tire could make such a difference and always replaced what was the standard issue from the manufacturer. Go for the Good Year on your Landrover Discovery and it will change your opinion of the vehicle.
I even emailed Good Year extolling the praises of the Fortera Tripletred.
Great tire and great experience with Mavis! |

No snow or ice yet. How would I answer about treadwear? These are brand new!

They are a pleasure to drive compared to the Yokohama OEM tires that wore out quickly, hydroplaned, and were always very marginal in snow. |

So far I'm very pleased with the Fortera Tripletred tires. I notice a slight high-pitch whine on smooth road at highway speeds, but is not loud enough to be annoying. The ride is very smooth and responsive on the highway. Traction in mud is excellent and traction in snow should be excellent as well. The tread design really digs-in. After 3,000 miles the tires still look brand new. I've had several people ask about the tires and comment positively on the unique tread design. |
