During our recent deep snow event (18") these tires allowed us to go wherever we wanted. Even up a packed snow/icy steep incline, where other cars were sliding backwards, we were able to negotiate the street without even spinning the tires. Pretty good for all weather treads. - Chittenango, NY

I took a trip to the midwest and these tires ride smoother and quieter than the oem michilins that were on it. I did notice that my speedometer was reading 1 mph lower because of the deeper tread, causeing the tires to be a little taller. I had periods of very heavy rain and minor road flooding and had no issues at all with hydroplaning. If these tires do as well in the snow as I expect them to, I will never buy a different brand again.

Although I have not had these tires for the long run, I am impressed by their cornering, low road noise, smooth highway performance and excellent deep tread. Given the reasonable price I was concerned with road performance. I can say without hesitation that I am impressed with the quality of the tires, their performance, and the value I received from Mavis Tire. You can count on a repeat purchase when the tme comes. Exactly my rating Excellent tires. I bought these to replace a set of Cooper Discovery AST ( I think that was the model ) I'm glad I did ! They are so much more quiet and handle great. No issues with the recent snow here in North East. Don't let the name deter you or be afraid.. it's a good quality tire at a good price. If you're on a budget these will fit the bill and do the job.

Pros: first you can't beat the buy 3 get 1 free. The tire really shines on bumps and expansion joints. My BF Goodrich oem. tires hit them hard. Cons: Open tread loads up with wet snow and stones. It also gets the snow tire whine at highway speeds. Quite loud on concrete but quieter on asphalt.

Since I do a fair amount of highway commuting, I bought these tires to replace a very street tread that I formerly had which provided no traction. The tread pattern is between street and off road and provides excellent traction without the noise of an off road tread. I did notice a slight dip in fuel mileage compared to a pure street tread, but having better traction over rides that.

Although I haven't had these tires very long and only driven with them in winter so far, they've proved to be a nice riding and quiet tire while gripping the road nicely. My vehicle is also all-wheel drive which helps in snow, but these tires do the job nicely and if you drive for the conditions of the roads... They'll get you where your going safely.

Very happy with the tires. Mostly highway driving but live in the mountains and we get a lot of snow and ice on the side roads. So far these have done great in the snow - about 6 inches - and in the ice as well.

Good looking tire with lots of deep tread. Great handling and really grips the road. I do lots of driving on all roads and conditions. I haven't had the opportunity to drive in snow or icy conditions yet but judging by how they handle everything else, I'm confident they will do well. Cant beat the price and the raised lettering looks great

These tires are a real bargain. The white outline lettering makes the truck look great. The tread is pretty aggressive but quiet. I haven't used them in heavy snow but I think they will perform well. I live in the Adirondacks and we get snow early and it stays. The wet handling is good and my truck is heavy. I plan to purchase a set of these for my son's SUV.

The vehicle has not been driven in light, or heavy snow conditions or icy roads yet. Generally we are quite satisfied with the tires. I assume as long as the alignment remains unchanged, and the air pressure is monitored regularly the treadwear will be well within the acceptable norms.

These tires have proven themselves from the first day. Quiet and smooth riding great traction. They pulled a trailblazer off the frame rails in a ditch out with ease on slick ice. I was a little skeptical at the time of purchase but now i am very happy with the way they perform. Couldnt ask for a better tire for the price.

I bought these tires because of the special Mavis had going on (buy 3 get 1 free). I was hesitant because they aren't "name brand" tires (although they are made by Cooper, but the Cooper name isn't on them), but so far I can't tell the difference. I haven't had them very long, but I have experienced all the various road conditions (dry, wet, snow, ice) and they have performed as good as any other tire I've had. If Mavis has the buy 3 get 1 free deal again on these I will definately buy them again, but if not, then I'll look for another deal. Overall, I am very happy with theses tires.

I have had the tires for almost a month and have driven them on the highway and in the rain and no problems to report. Driving on the highway or local streets and no issues to report. They ride exactly like the factory tires that were on the mnini-van before I replaced them with these.

This is my second pair. I bought them prior to the winter of 2010 and they got me around during and after the snows that year. I have never had a tire give me the confidence that I can go out in almost any weather, be safe and be assured I can get home.

I bought these tires because of the price and recommendations. So far they are a sure gripping ,smooth riding tire. I know the fact they are new has something to do with this. So far I'm pleased and hope that they are good in snow.Only additional mileage will tell me how good they really are. I try to get every possible mile out of every tire I buy.

Have driven on the tires for about 2 months. The ride is smooth and the handling of the vehicle is excellent. Have not driven in ice or snow, so will have to wait and see. Did not buy road hazard and picked up a nail which caused tire to go flat and sidewall was ruined. Get the road hazard insurance.

Tires are great, never really knew about them but they were a day-of-tire-change sub. They are are a good looking tire and so far so good in respect to performance. My only problem is with the color. It lost its nice black luster pretty quickly but im not sure if that might have been something I did. Overall, id recommend them based on performance and price
